The 9th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards will take place at the Pavilhão 25 de Abril in Almancil (recently opened). The event, happening on 15th March 2025, will celebrate the best festivals and services in the Iberian festival industry, with 24 categories and 2 Excellence Awards.
The 2nd and 3rd application phases are open until 30th November.

After Lisboa, Maia, Barcelona, Vigo and Granada it's an honour for APORFEST (main promoter of the event) to organize the Iberian Festival Awards in Almancil, Algarve (Portugal) and bring one of the first impactful events to the Pavilhão Multiusos 25 de Abril, which was inaugurated on the 6th October, in the presence of the Portuguese Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Pedro Duarte.

The Councillor for Events at the Municipality of Loulé and Director of the MED Festival, Carlos Carmo, highlights the expected economic and media impact this event will bring to the Loulé region. “We are very pleased to host such a prestigious event – both within the Iberian and European context – like the Iberian Festival Awards. Not only for the visibility it will bring to our region, but also for the economic benefits in sectors such as hospitality, restaurants, and retail, as well as the media exposure, given that many media outlets will be covering the initiative. This event, the only one in the Iberian Peninsula focused on the music festival sector, is organised by APORFEST – Portuguese Music Festivals Association, and guarantees free access/applications for its members with active membership on the event date. Access and applications for non-members are available at a reduced price until the end of October and can be made through the official website. Be a part of it!
