The 9th edition of Talkfest - International Music Festivals Forum will take place in Lisbon, in parallel and in partnership with BTL – Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa, between March 11 and 15, 2020. Today we announce a new wave of speakers, the hosts of the Iberian Festival Awards gala and (for the 2nd time) the elaboration of the Portugal Festivals Guide in the official booklet of the event.
TALKFEST
Talkfest will feature a programme with more than 100 speakers from 8am to 8pm continuously in 6 rooms and auditoriums simultaneously at the Centro de Reuniões FIL.

Blasted Mechanism's documentary-concert, “New Militia”, recorded in the band's performance at the Nos Alive festival (in 2018), will be screening in the Documentaries section, which this year will be 100% composed of portuguese registrys.
IBERIAN FESTIVAL AWARDS
The pair of hosts who surprised the audience at the last edition of the awards in Vigo will come back together to add some humor and sparkle to the gala - Pedro Luzindro (Actor and stand-up comedian) and Ana Cristina Câmara (Actress and director).
Applications (from festivals, cultural and professional events, artists, service providers and photographers) are open until November 22 on this website.
PORTUGAL FESTIVALS GUIDE
APORFEST – Associação Portuguesa Festivais Música will communicate and spread for the second year a "Portugal Festivals Guide" (in booklet format) - with information about music festivals to be held in Portugal in 2020 as well as information of concert venues, brands and service providers (e.g. audiovisuals, security, mobility, sustainability). This document will serve to enhance the networking among professionals, business promotion, positioning and internationalization of those individuals in order to reach more public, including decision makers, government entities, the press and the public abroad.
The following actions are confirmed in 2020:
300 units - Portuguese Press and Spain (direct sending to journalists – February’s last fortnight)
300 units - Afial Madrid (March, Madrid) in the activation area
700 units - Iberian Festival Awards (March 14, BTL) at the event entrance
1000 units - Talkfest (March 13, BTL) in the welcome bag of the attendees
1000 units - BTL Festivals (11-15 March)
300 units - Mama (October, Paris) in the activation area
300 units - Bime Pro (November, Bilbao) in the activation area
