The Women in Music Industry Award emerges as a pioneering initiative aimed at recognizing and valuing the work of women in the music industry in Portugal, with a special focus on their contribution to music festivals. This award arises from a reflection on the need to increase the visibility and representation of women in this sector, given their fundamental role in the development and innovation of the Portuguese music scene.

 

The award presentation will take place on the day of the Main Event at Talkfest – Music Fest Summit (March 21), at 6:30 PM. This moment will not only celebrate female excellence in music but will also mark a milestone for the promotion of equality and inclusion in the sector, in an ongoing effort to ensure that female voices gain increasing space in the industry.
